Kiyoshi Teppei

 

To all Kuroko no Basket fan! I’m sure you already knew this guy . But if you still don’t even know or read Kuroko no Basket yet! then you’ll probably missing something cool! especially if you’re a basketball fanatic like me. For your information, Kuroko No Basket is japanese manga and anime series about basketball. I totally recommend this series especially if you read manga’s and love to play basketball too.

 

Anyway! I just want you to know who is Kiyoshi Teppei of Kuroko No Basket. For me he’s one of the most interesting character in Kuroko no Basket series. He’s one of the senior  member of Seirin basketball team and actually the one who founded it. He was also the former ace player of Seirin but got injured and hospitalized for so long that’s why he didn’t played in the first few matches of Seirin when Kagami and Kuroko entered the team.

Talking about his basketball skills as a player, Kiyoshi Teppei is the tallest member of  Seirin so he is center their team. At first look, you will think that he’s just a normal player who played center position but it’s not. Because the truth is that he is a very odd player who is so hard to predict because Kiyoshi despite being in a center position has also possess a great passing and dribbling ability that a point guard has, which make him a very big threat in every team that he played. It’s proven when he played in a point guard position in their match against Yosen.

Kiyoshi is one of the underrated player in the series despite of his great skill. That’s why he was also one of the member of “Uncrowned Kings”. One character in the series named Iwamura mentioned that he is actually the second strongest center in the league behind Kiyoshi’s greatest rival Atsushi Murasakibara.

Kiyoshi was not just called as “Iron Heart” for nothing beecause actually he is a very determined person and has “never say die” personality. He always willing to sacrifice everything even though  it might worsen his injury just to help his team to win, that’s also the reason why Murasakibara hates him so much. And even though sometime his team was being down my many points in a game, he still smile and always said a catchphrase “Let’s have some fun” during a game. He seems a bit goofy and bit weird at first look but during a game he is totally a very smart and skilled player who love and enjoy playing basketball and that’s what makes him a very special player in this series.

Lebron James Finally Got The Championship Ring

The Championship match of Miami Heat v.s. Oklahoma City Thunder has finally ended up in game 5 series, 4-1 standing won by the Miami Heat and it’s happen right at their home court. Now the Miami Heat has taken the NBA 2012 Championship crowned. The game is a very one sided match through out the whole game led by Miami Heat until the end. Most of the player of Miami Heat played a great game especially Mike Miller who made seven three point shots as well as Mario Chalmers, Shane Battier and even Norris Cole did a good game too. As always Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade also played a great job in the game as one of the Big Three. But It’s Lebron James the “Three Time Season MVP” who really made a great part to win this series as he made 26 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assist which is a Triple Double performance.

Almost everyone who is a fan of Miami Heat all over the world and even here in the Philippines is happy for Miami Heat to winning the championship. But I think no one is so much happier in this moment than Lebron James himself, because as most of us know, that this is the first time Lebron James won the championship. I believe that Lebron James really need to win this championship for him to shut all the mouth of his haters and to remove all doubts about him as a superstar player and now he just did it. He played such a monstrous performance every game through out the season and playoffs as he averages more or less 30 points per game.

I believe that he really deserves it because he totally has great talent, love and determination to the sport. For me his a very humble guy, a very unselfish player. For sure there is more championship ring to come for Lebron James because I think this is just the beginning for him.  I hope this championship event become an eye opener to all lebron james haters and to remove all doubts about him.

Ryota Miyagi

Now I just want to talk about who is my most favorite point guard in the world of Slam Dunk series. Talking about point guard in Slam Dunk we all know that there is bunch of them. Of course! because obviously in every team of basketball there must be at least one point guard in it. A point guard is a very important role in a team because he is the one who make plays or strategies, he’s the one who lead the team and the one who make passes, he is also the one who should carry the ball most of the time, so he must be good at dribbling the ball. In other words point guard position is the main brain of the team inside the court. In slam dunk we all know that there are so many bad-ass point guard in this series like Akira Sendoh, Shinichi Maki, Kenji Fujima, Fukatsu and many more. But for me my most favorite point guard in the series is no other than Ryota Miyagi.

Ryota Miyagi a.k.a Ligthning or Shorty was the starting point guard of the Shohoku Team where Hanamichi Sakuragi playing. He’s only second year, 5’6 inch in height,. He always claim himself that he is the number one point guard in the prefecture and was greatly in love with ayako who is the manager of their them.

Shintaro Midorima

Here I go again writing a blog post about one of the character of Kuroko no Basket but I can’t help myself because this basketball manga series is totally a insane! that's why so you can’t blame me for being so addicted to this series.

I make this post because I want to introduce to you an another bad-ass character of Kuroko no Basket his name is Shintaro Midorima. Midorima is one of the five member of Generation of Miracles and currently playing at Shutoku High. He was the second member of generation of miracles to show in the series next to Ryota Kise.

Talking about his abilities in basketball I must say that this guy long range shooting skill is definitely insane! He’s a lefty (lol! just like me) and if you ask me about his long range skill you must also need to ask me how long or how far?? because this guy can just shoot the ball on the other side of court so easily. He's a great three point specialist and can shoot anywhere and he shoot the ball so high that it takes a time for the ball to reach the basket so that he can have a plenty of time to get back on defense so that he can easily stop and cover the fastbreaks and counter-attacks of the opponent. But that’s not his only strength because his also great at defense, very fast, strong and a very smart player no wonder why he’s one of the member of Generation of Miracles. He’s so good in faking a shot also known as pump fake. This guy rarely miss a shot and I actually only seen him missed one or two times in the series.

Midorima is a very serious person who didn’t like to make joking around to other people. What makes him funny for me is that he is so possessed of zodiac-signs and horoscopes who totally believe in it to the point that he even always carry a lucky item everywhere he goes especially if there is a game. Compare to Ryota Kise, Midorima can’t stand Kuroko so much unlike Kise who obviously like him. It is because Midorima still acknowledge Kuroko’s skill in basketball despite of his lack of physical capabilities which makes kuroko weak. He also thinks that kuroko is stupid because he chose to play for Seirin who can even use his full ability as a player. Later on in the series Midorima change his way of playing and became an unselfish player who began playing as a team and started to enjoy basketball compare to the past which he was very prideful, serious and never relied on his teammate.

Ryota Kise : The Copy Cat

Here’s my latest character review of one of my favorite basketball manga/anime series titled “Kuroko no Basket”

Ryota Kise a.k.a The Copy Cat was one of the five member of Generation of Miracles. He was the first member of generation of miracles who introduced and appeared in the series. The reason why he got interested in playing basketball is because of Aomine Daiki. He plays at Kaijo High, the first team Kuroko and Kagami faced as a teammate.

He was very well known in the series because of his copying abilities. His great talent and ability to copy a move or technique and make it his own just by seeing it the first time is totally fantastic. He doesn’t just copy the technique but also enhance it with more speed and power. His copying abilities was firstly seen when kagami first met him and kise easily copied his move as you’ve seen in the gif image above. He can even copy some of Aomine’s impossible and formless shot. He’s definitely a genius that’s why there’s no surprise that he’s one of the five member of generation of miracles.

He’s really one of my favorite characters in the series because of his funny personalities and his copying abilities. Kise also has a nice personalities, he always tries to be friend with anyone even to someone like Shintaro Midorima he’s fellow member of generation of miracles who is always serious and reserved. He also likes Tetsuya Kuroko so much and really admired kuroko’s talent in basketball. He even try to asked kuroko to be in his school and be his teammate and told kuroko that he will just wasting his talent if he will just going to play in Seirin High but Kuroko refused. Kise can also be very serious and determined in the game especially if he’s facing his rival, just like when they played against Aomine’s team. Kise thinks Aomine as his greatest rival, the fact that Aomine Daiki is the only player who beaten him in one on one a lot of times makes him feel more interested in playing basketball something that he never feel while playing in other sport that he’s also good at.

By reading this post I hope you do get to know a little bit about Ryota Kise of Kuroko no Basket. I really highly recommend this series to people who likes anime and love to play basketball, If you start to read or watch this series I know you'll like it for sure.
